So this year i’m hosting an exchange student which i’m really excited for and I can’t stop talking about it because literally it’s such an amazing experience. Just last block she emailed me and I genuinely almost cried in front of everyone, because it was so sweet. We share the same interests and we both aren’t good at our language class. So I’m super duper excited and waiting on her to arrive this Saturday so the fun can begin. Everyday is going to feel like a sleepover because in my house it’s only me and my mom and dogs so that’s gonna be different for me. Last year I wanted to host, but they didn’t let me because I was a freshman..throwing all shade possible. Anyways this is about to be a bop because we both love shopping so good luck to my moms money. Also her favorite type of food is Japanese and so is mine so we’re just really living out here. Omg I really don’t even know what else to say, but blogs are supposed to be authentic so here you go guys. I can’t wait until she arrives 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny Mishaps While On Stage
- So This happened in Jazz production where there are 244 people in the dance, meaning at times everyone is on stage all together. So long story short this dude ran onto Stage and wiped out this 9 year old and then some one dragged her across stage to save her from getting trampled by the people coming on next, you have to see the video to understand how funny this was.
- On stage while I was turning my top came undone, let me inform you it was a bra top infront of many middle aged men watching so yea that’s great and then out of the turn I had to do an aerial so I just held it up while doing it.
- This time I was on this large circular rotating prop in which i was on one leg and it had to turn while I was on it, now the prop dads are pretty good, but that prop was a bit jumpy and I fell out of the leg hold
- In this situation there was a girl who I had to spot her back tuck on stage and I might of dropped her….. but we all laughed it off
- In this situation It wasn’t my dance but I was standing in the wings watching and they had a turning combination in which they did a leap out of and my friend brandon’s shoe literally went flying off into the wings and let me tell you I was dying of laughter
- In this situation once again not my dance they had these chairs that they ended the dance standing and sitting on them and this girl couldn’t open hers so she just did an air sit and nobody really noticed until after but that ws funny too.
- In this situation they had umbrelas as a prop and this one girl took the wrong one

So those shows were the bomb when I was little literally I was watching nick jr 24/7. Not to sound sappy, but those shows brought me so much joy when I was little because like all I had to worry about is fruit snacks and popsicles while watching my favorite shows. Now in life it’s like everything is so serious and it doesn’t have to be that deep. So much of the shows I watched are on nick jr and some are on pbs kids, but anyway they are fire and I bet most of you can relate to some of them.
Shopping
I love shopping because it’s fun and not to sound snobby but i’m not spending my money. Sometimes I overspend and very rarely I stay in budget, but retail therapy really works like you don’t even have to buy anything just window shopping could help too. My favorite stores are lululemon for dance wear and then pacsun for like regular clothes, but I do most of my shopping on my laptop at home because my favorite thing to do is be away from people.
My favorite animal
Honestly I’m writing about this because a sister doesn’t know what to talk about, but anyway i’ve always wanted a pet hedgehog because they’re my favorite animal of all time i have hedgehog stuffed animals and little glass replicas. the reason of me not having a hedgehog is solely based on my mom because she refuses to basically get an animal that is not a small breed of a dog or a fish so that kind of blows my chances of getting one as well as they just got legalized inn VA so kinda couldn’t just walk one in here illegally. That’s all for now folks.
Competition Season
If you don’t know well now you know dance competition season officially started and if you have any friends that are competitive dancers on the weekends Friday- Sunday get ready to be spammed on snap with a bunch of comp feed. Now usually most studios don’t have competitions every weekend because they’re so freaking expensive and time consuming, but when we do have them like twice a month leading up to june which is nationals. Now yes competitions start really early in the morning and schedules for the comp are always changing because people are running late and it is very hectic, but other than that they’re super fun. My favorite part of comp is getting souvenirs and stuff. getting trophies and plaques isn’t that fun but when you get first overall in the whole category or you get a special judges award that is a great feeling to know that out of 300 and something routines the judges thought you did something well. Award cerimonies are terrible though because it’s so loud after you’ve been listening to music all day and all night. Also competiton is a full weekend all day and all night event they usually start at 7:00am and end at 12:00am so that’s both saturday and sunday, friday on the other hand is 4:30pm-12:00am. Yea so competition is great and I can’t wait for my first this season which is this weekend wish my studio luck. Here are some of my favorite competitions.
