Your brown eyes, as deep as rich soil,
Have stars in them like seeds about to sprout
And see the world in colors and patterns,
Believing in the moment without a doubt.
I wish I had mirrors reflecting in my eyes.
The grass was green and the sky was blue,
The grass are now triangles and the sky’s pink,
I wish to see the world in the way you do.
Your gaze is melodic, like crinkling tinfoil,
It sparkles and transforms into a stained glass sea,
In a sense, it also clouds your sight, too.
I know I see you, but you’ll never see me.
