the world is flush with poetry.

somewhere in the veins 

of the ice cold rivers it bleeds

and the cool green spreading across 

the earth that’s burned away in flames

is art.

 

pain is art, pain is poetry.

but so is sunshine 

and happiness 

and fear

and crazed worry.
