Oasis

I’m stuck,
Stuck on an oasis.
Loneliness embodies me,
I’m happy but
Slowly sinking to the depths of misery.
Deeper,
And deeper,
As it proceeds for centuries.

Seeing visions,
People walking up to me.
Here I try making connections,
A wave of memory washes over me,
I realize once again,
All my efforts are in vain,
They deposit down the drain.
Thus, I’m trapped here,
In the neverending rain.
