Adventure – 246 Pages – Published in 2007

Book Review: After the protagonist, Peak Marcello, is arrested for scaling a skyscraper in New York City, he decides to attempt to be the youngest person ever to scale Mount Everest rather than spend his time in a juvenile detention center. He is emphatic until he meets a Nepalese kid with the same intentions as him

I like the way Roland Smith added suspense into the story, making readers anticipate what was going to happen next in the incredible story of Peak. My rating: 4

Book Club Reflection: Our book club discussions were highly productive, and every member contributed greatly. The format was amazing, so I think it should stay the same.
