Athletic Commitments

Donovan Foley after officially committing to run at Saint Francis University.

Here are the Freedom athletic commitments that were not included in the print edition of [Uncaged.].

Donovan Foley has been running competitively since the 4th grade and has committed to run at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. After doing endless amounts of research on not only different running programs but also school environments, he felt St. Francis was the best fit for him.

“I’m really looking forward to receiving training that will take me to the next level as a competitive athlete,” Foley said.

Cameron Delean has only been running competitively for nine months, yet she caught the attention of the University of Mary Washington (UMW).  She found her preferred major and got along with the track team. UMW combined the campus life and academic experience Delean wanted to complement her athletic life.

“I hope to set new personal records and become a better athlete overall,” Delean said.

Morgan Holmes has been running track since freshman year, and after putting in tireless effort throughout high school, has committed to run at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia. The small-school atmosphere and competitive environment that Mary Baldwin provides appealed to Holmes. There she hopes to contribute to winning a conference championship meet.

“I’m looking forward to creating new relationships with my future teammates and coaches,” Holmes said.
