Fortnite

I love it and play it a lot, but I still suck at it. If you don’t know what Fortnite is then you maybe living under a rock. Fortnite is a Battle Royale game that is played on the PC, Xbox, and Playstation. The object of the game is to out last all of the other players in the same game as you, but this is tricky because there are 99 other players in the game and they are all trying to eliminate you with a variety of different weapons like shotguns, grenades, and assault rifles. Now there are many other Battle Royale games that have the same objective, but there are many things that sets this game apart from the others. One thing that makes Fortnite so different from the other games is its animation style. To some people, killing people with guns may sound a little violent, but they have found a way to make it not that bad. The animation style of the game is very bright and colorful with many of the different skins that the players can play with being happy and funny like one of the newer skins, which is a giant pink teddy bear. There is also nothing scary or gory in the game like blood or bones that some other games put in which is another reason this game appeals to so many people. The last thing is that Fortnite is the only battle Royale game in which you can build structures using wood, brick, or iron that can be collected from mining up a tree to a giant truck to even a whole building. The build aspect of this of the game allows the player to build forts, hence its name, or anything else that someone may want to create in the game. With all of these original aspects in Fortnite, it has quickly become the number one game in the world with 45 million players having downloaded and played the game as of February 2018 and many people think that Fortnite can not get any bigger. Do you believe this statement because I sure don’t.Fortnite Picture

Snowboard Slopestyle Champs!

This event is AWESOME and apparently the U.S.A Olympic team is pretty good at it too. This is one of the newest events in the Winter Olympics because Slopestyle is only making its second appearance ever. The only other time that Slopestyle was an event was in the 2014 Sochi games. It is a unique event that uses terrain park features that snowboarders (and Skiers) must ride down and do tricks to impress a panel of judges all while not falling down. So far in the history of this event, which hasn’t been that long, American’s have won all of the snowboard Slopestyle gold metals and all but one ski Slopestyle gold medals as of February 16, 2018. The biggest upset in this event ever happened at this years winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, were a 17 year old kid, Red Gerald, had a incredible final run allowing him to win an upset gold metal. After he won, Red said that he wasn’t even projected to make the finals. Better yet, this was the first medal for team U.S.A in that years Olympics.

The Eagle Sores High!

As a Redskins fan I’m not overjoyed that the Eagles won Super Bowl 52, but I think it was time for the New England Patriots dynasty to fall. The Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots played a fantastic game in the U.S Bank Stadium up in Minnesota. With the Eagles starting out their first position with a touchdown, you could tell that this was going to be a game for the ages. At halftime the Eagles were winning 22-12, but after an awesome halftime preformance by Justen Timberlake, the Patriots came back and put it within 3 points at the end of the 3rd with a score of 29-26. Then at the very end of the game, the Eagles took control and scoring 12 points to secure their Super Bowl victory with a final score of 41-33.
