Amelia always wanted a voodoo doll of her own, so one day she made one. She tested it by pinching its shoulder, and she felt her shoulder get pinched. It had worked! Anything that happened to the doll happened to her. As the days went by she started to realize the danger of having a voodoo doll.  One morning Amelia saw it was gone. Her sister Lily said it had to be here somewhere. “But where did it go!” Amiela shouted. They ran to their baby brother’s room, RIIIP! Their brother ripped off the head. A terrified scream ran through the house.

  1. Hi, just to clarify Lily Amelia’s sister is the one screaming at the end. What happens to Amelia is up to you unless I want to do a part 2. So what will happen to her, does she die? Does she live? Tell me in the comments and don’t forget to leave a link to your blog or someone else’s! Bye for now!

  2. Elizabeth –
I love your Mardi Gras background. What fun! I wonder what you’ll have in your background in March. Do you collect those voodoo dolls? We have several Christmas ornaments that look like those. They’re cute, yet not at all like the creepy voodoo doll in your story. That poor baby brother. Does he even know what he did?

    Keep on writing!

  3. Hi Liz!
This was such a creative take on the phrase you had to use for this challenge! I saw your comment on the post and I have a feeling that somehow Amelia is still alive… hopefully. I would be way too scared to make a voodoo doll of myself!
