Overediting a tan

What I find confusing is how on Vogue Italy, the magazine will white wash their pigmented models, yet when a white model goes to be on their cover they bronze her. It’s as if this magazine who chooses their cover-model decides they want her face but not her skin. The criticism in turn, is then thrown at the model but not the magazine. The model didn’t walk into a shoot with a spray tan so dark it looked as if she was basking in the Bahamas for years, nor did she change her own skin tone before the shoot. Over-editing on magazines has created such a controversy because of the debate of issues such as racism that now the models are receiving back last over something the magazine did. To create a healthy glow, don’t edit it on through an app, use my next blog post to get a healthy tan.
