Duran Duran is one of my favorite bands, if not my absolute favorite. Their first album, Duran Duran, was released the 15th of June in 1981. Duran Duran is a new wave band, who mixed rock, a bit of disco, and electronic music (to incorporate the new synthesizers that had come out in previous years). Duran Duran’s album consists of 9 songs. My favorites off the album are Sound of Thunder and Planet Earth.
In season two of Stranger Things, Steve and Nancy are at a party, and in the background, Girls on Film is the song playing. Some other very popular songs by Duran are Hungry Like the Wolf, Rio, and the Reflex.

Overall their 1981 self-titled album is in my top 5 albums of all time, and I suggest you take a listen.
