I have recently been super into Greta Van Fleet, a band from Frankenmuth, Michigan. Greta Van Fleet has a 70’s Zeppelin sound to their music, although their first full length album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, has strayed from the Zeppelin-sound they adopted with their first EP, From the Fires. They released Anthem of the Peaceful Army on October 19th, and I am obsessed with it. My favorite track off the album is either When the Curtain Falls, Watching Over, or Age of Man. I seriously cannot choose just one song.
Overall, Anthem of the Peaceful Army is an amazing album, and I strongly recommend everyone to listen to them.
Also, I’m buying the album in vinyl this weekend, and I am so excited. I’ll make another post about the record when I receive it! Enjoy your weekend y’all!
hi bff! I think your music taste is unique and very very cool!!
Hi!! Thank you bff 🙂 I’m really enjoying your blog as well!
Woaaahhhhhh, I’ll have to look into them! I’m always looking for new music. Thanks!
Thanks! I think you’ll like them! Safari Song and Edge of Darkness are a few really good songs off their double EP, if you’d like to start off with some their earlier music.
I still remember the first time we both listened to them together! We definitely need to listen to them together again since I’m kinda obsessed with old music (specifically 70s and 80s music) !!
Yes! I still can’t believe I am so obsessed with them now, yet when we were hanging out I didn’t like them that much haha!! We totally need to listen to them again!
