Black Enough is a collection of short stories from some of the most well acclaimed African American writers of today.  Each story depicts what it is like to be young and black living in America.  There are stories about friendship, family, relationships, etc and include individuals from a spectrum of backgrounds – rich, poor, urban, rural, mixed race, immigrants, etc.  This book is great for everyone as there is a lot of diversity throughout.  The short stories are also quick reads so this book book could be read over an extended period of time, one short story at a time.
