Night by Elie Wiesel

1617Night is a very powerful book about the author’s experience in the concentration camps and the horrors of the holocaust.  He was fifteen when his family was taken to Auschwitz.  He was separated from his mother and sisters, never to see them again.  He chronicles how he tries not to be separated from his father and records the horrors he witnessed on a daily basis of life in a concentration camp.  The author was awarded a Noble Peace Prize in 1986 for his work.

This book should be a must read for all.  I highly recommend it.
