Get your kleenex box ready for this one.  This is a heart wrenching story of four friends – Carver, Mars, Eli, and Blake.  One text message from Carver to his friends changes everything.  The three of them are killed in a car accident.  Carver cannot stop blaming himself.  He is possibly facing charges for the accident and has very few people on his side.  Blake’s grandmother asks Carver to share a “goodbye day” with him.  The other families hear about the goodbye day and ask for ones too.A goodbye day is a day spent if they had one more day to spend with their loved one.  The question is do the goodbye days help bring peace or make the situation worse.   The book will make you cry and laugh a few pages later.  I highly recommend it.
