This weeks blog post is going to be a little different. Tomorrow, May 25th, DHS girls lacrosse is going to be hosting their first ever  Regional Championship. Currently girls lacrosse is 16-0 and we are ranked #9 on the Washington post! Tomorrow will be our biggest game of the year against our rivals Riverside. Last time we played riverside we came out with a win, but let up at the end and won luckily due to a goal being called back from Riverside. Domglax is pumped and so ready for our game tomorrow and they will fight 5o minutes till the very end! The Dominion Girls lacrosse 2017-2018 team has accomplished so much this year for the Domglax program.

Accomplishments

• Only undefeated team at Dominion
• First team to win a regular season title
• First team to play in the regional final
• First team to qualify for state tournament.
• First team to be ranked top 10 in Washington post
• First team to be ranked #1 in the state of VA
• Current national rankings:
• #37/3,173 team in goals scored: avg 16.44/game
• #32/3,173 teams in goals against: avg 4.38/game
• #15/3,173 teams in goal differential: avg 12.06 a game
