Jewelry Ideas

Jewelry is a great way to add taste to an outfit. There is a huge range of jewelry that you can get whether you decide to splurge or not. I would recommend matching the color of your jewelry, meaning wearing all gold or all silver. This automatically makes your outfit look more put together. Also, everyone should have a simple set that they wear everyday for example, a simple necklace, stud earrings and a thin bangle with a matching ring. You can spend as much or as little money you want on jewelry. You can find some cute sets at Forever 21 for less than ten dollars or buy real gold or silver. A tip for jewelry that is prone to rust, when you buy it coat it with a clear top coat of nail polish, this ensures the color will not rust for a longer period of time. I would also keep a more fancy set of jewelry for when you want to go to a special event or dress up a simple outfit. You can easily find bling that looks real for cheap from any store like Forever 21 or even Walmart to wear for special events. In this set I would try to match as well. The number one thing to make your jewelry classy and cute is to make sure it is well coordinated, if you have a diamond studded necklace I would pair that with diamond stud earrings and a bracelet that incorporates a diamond stud as well. Another type of jewelry is string jewelry, these are super cute and a great option for people that do not like the diamonds or chains.

Spring Shoes

Spring is officially here which means switching out boots for sandals. Shoes are a great accessory to an outfit and add so much. Some everyday shoes that match many outfits include slip on Vans and Birkenstocks. You can wear these everyday to school with a casual tee and shorts. I would also recommend getting athletic shoes like Adidas Nmd´s, but in a lighter color for the spring. Some more dressy shoes include the classic sandals which you can get from anywhere, or you could get the Tory Burch ones if you want to splurge a little. Both ways they add a simple element to a more dressed up outfit.

Must Haves for the Gym

Now that the weather is becoming warmer and new sports are starting for the spring season, you are going to have to think about what to bring to the gym or practice. The first thing I would recommend is a a few athletic sets, like shorts and a top that you can always keep for working out. You can find some cute ones at Forever 21 or Lululemon, depending on your budget. Next I would recommend a bag or backpack, try to get a neutral color so that it would match most of your outfits. You can find these from a wide range of places like Dicks Sporting Goods or even VS Pink has some cute duffel bags you could use for the gym. I would also make sure to bring headphones to listen to music while you work out, this helps a lot!

How to Find your Style

Finding your own style can be difficult, even more so when there are a bunch of trends. It gets really easy to get caught up in these trends and not know your own style. My first tip is to find inspiration from your style icons, the best place for this is on Instagram since there a lot of fashion or beauty gurus who post their outfits often. Save a few outfits for reference when you want to get clothes. My next tip would be to decide whether or not that style of clothing is appropriate for your age and day to day activities. If so, go out and try to find some basic and inexpensive alternatives which are similar to the style you are looking into. Next clean out your closet, if you end up really liking this style, clean out your closet so you can get a visual what you need to maintain your style. These are all the tips I have for for finding your style!Image result for fashion closet
