Jacob Makuvire is the Vice President of Partnership with Code To The Future, the leading provider for K-12 district-wide computer science immersion solutions in the nation. He is a passionate and visionary leader with a strong focus on equity for all students. In his role, he spends time meeting with state superintendents, education commissioners and local district superintendents discussing strategic partnerships and potential statewide initiatives. Before joining Code To The Future, he was the CEO for Penda Learning, a math and science gaming company for grades 4-10. Jacob is an advocate for the underrepresented and underprivileged students in education, believing equitable access to tools and resources is the great equalizer for ALL. He is a founding member of a charter school in Texas, Leadership Prep School which they founded in 2008 and currently sits on the board for this school.
