100 Word Challenge / March 12

Rainbow butterflies | Rainbow butterflies, Beautiful butterflies, Rainbow

Hey Readers! Welcome back to another 100 Word Challenge. This weeks  prompt required that you used the quote, “the orange spoke first”. Hope you all enjoy this story about bickering butterflies!!

It was getting tight in the rainbow cocoon that these beautiful butterflies called home. Not only was it hard to breathe, but conflict was quickly arising. They kept pondering the question, “When was the right time?” The butterflies called a meeting, and the orange spoke first. The orange butterfly started off by saying how she couldn’t stand green. Then blue followed up on how purple never seemed to stop talking. After all of their bickering, they decided the best time to leave was now. They packed up their bags and eagerly waited for daylight, as it finally meant freedom.
