Premier League Match of the Week 5/21/2018

Chelsea played Newcastle at their home stadium, St. James’ Park, on the 13th. This match looked like an easy win for Chelsea. At the 23rd minute Gayle scores for Newcastle keeping Chelsea on their toes. No more goals were scored until the 59th minute by Perez for Newcastle making it 2-0. The game was looking like a underdog story. Then Perez scores again to seal the deal making it 3-0 Newcastle’s win over Chelsea.

Champions League Match of the Week 4/11

This week Real Madrid played Juventus in the Champions league. The underdogs Juventus are looking for revenge against Real Madrid for last year. The game starts off fast with a goal for Juventus at the second minute. Then again at the 37th minute to make it 2-0. At the 60th minute Juventus make it 3-0. That means Juventus is winning against Real Madrid because it is 3-3 aggregate. In the last minute Ronaldo scores a penalty barely allowing Real to make it to the next round.

Champion League Match Recap 3/14/2018

Chelsea was looking for a win at Barca’s Camp Nou to get to the next round of the Champions League. Barcelona are already ahead by the third minute due to Lionel Messi. Ousmane Dembele scored another at 20 minutes, not even half way though the second half. Chelsea’s dreams of beating Barcelona and wining the champion league were crushed. And to seal the deal Messi scores another making it 3-0 Barcelona’s win.

Premier League Match of the Week 3/9/18

This week Chelsea had another match in Manchester but this time it was in Manchester City’s home, the Etihad Stadium. There were no goals first half but Manchester City was dominating Chelsea. Manchester City had 71.2% possession of the ball leaving Chelsea with only 28.8%. At the start of the second half Bernardo Silva scores a well deserved goal for Manchester City. Manchester City continued to pressure Chelsea but to no prevail as they scored no more goals leaving the match 1-0 at the final whistle.

Premier League Match of the Week 2/25/18

Chelsea FC played Manchester United at Manchester United’s stadium, Old Trafford, last Sunday. The match starts off with Willian scoring a goal on a fast break from an amazing pass by Eden Hazard at the 32nd minute. Lukaku answers quickly to Chelsea’s goal by scoring one for Manchester United in the 39th minute. Then at the 75th minute Lingard scores a header that was crossed by Lukaku to end the game 2-1 Manchester United’s win.

Champions League Match Recap

This post is a little different in that this one isn’t about the premier league. This time I will be talking about a big champions league match that just happened between PSG and Real Madrid. The underdogs PSG score in the 33 minute making it look like there is going to be an upset.  There were no more goals scored until Giovani Lo Celso fouled Toni Kroos in the penalty area. Ronaldo easily scores a penalty making it 1-1 at the end of half time. Ronaldo strickes again in the 83rd minute giving Real a one goal lead over PSG. Closely after at the 86th minute Marcelo ends the game 3-1 Real Madrid win in their stadium Santiago Bernabéu.

1/18 Premier League Match of The Week

Manchester City was looking for it’s 21st win in the Premier League. By the ninth minute Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a goal for Liverpool. Sane ties the game for Man City at the 40th minute. In within nine minutes three goals were scored for Liver pool.  With Firmino in the 59th, Mane in the 61st, and Salah in the 68th It looked like Liverpool came out with a win. Silva scores the 84th to make it 4-2. City fans start the get hope for a comeback. There were no more goals until the last minute where Gündogan scores and makes the match 4-3. That was Manchester City’s first loss in the premier league. Liverpool is now third due to one point greater than Chelsea’s goal difference. And Manchester City is still first.
