Hey y’all! Welcome back to my Current Faves blog where I tell you about the song I’m currently obsessing over. It’s been a long while since my last post but my love for music never stops. This week’s spotlight song is “Bookstore Girl” by Charlie Burg. The song is about a love at first sight–well many sights.

The song takes you through a day where Burg sees “Bookstore Girl” and describes how he longs to talk to her, but can’t work up the confidence to talk to her. I like to describe the song as the this decade’s version of “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt. It shares a relatable feeling of being unable to talk to your crush, but also basking in the mystery of never knowing her name.
