Another Food Confession

Hey guys, so I’ve been thinking and I have another food confession to make.  This one usually surprises a lot of people.  I hope you guys still choose to support me after I tell you this!! I don’t like watermelon! I think it has no flavor and it just tastes really watered down.  I love every other fruit other than watermelon though.  I don’t really like water as a drink either so maybe that has something to do with it.  I don’t know, but I hope you guys enjoyed this.  I’ll see you guys next week. :))

Spring Break Eats!

Over spring break I went to Folly Beach, South Carolina.  It was really nice and the town was surrounded by great restaurants.  Some of my favorites were Loggerheads, Rita’s,  and Taco Boy.  We also went to a really nice biscuit place for breakfast one morning.  The place was called Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. They made the best gourmet biscuits and they tasted so good. I totally recommend trying this place for breakfast.

4 Day Weekend Food Plans

For this 4 day weekend I am taking a little excursion! I am traveling to New York with my friend.  I’ve actually never been to New York before so this should be really interesting.  I’m not really sure if there are any foods specific to New York, but hopefully I’ll be able to find some.  I’m really excited to try new foods and restaurants up there.  Let me know in the comments if you have been there before and know of any good restaurants I should try! I’ll let you guys know what new foods I try on my adventure. Thanks for reading!

Mom’s Birthday Breakfast

Over the weekend it was my mom’s birthday.  We went out to breakfast at silver diner to celebrate.  This was my first time going there in a while.  I got the Belgium waffles and some nutella on the side to spread on the waffles.  They were very good.  The restaurant is very cute and it looks like an old 80s diner.  They even have a jukebox at every table and all you have to do is insert a quarter to play a song. Overall I definitely recommend the restaurant and their waffles!!

My food confession…

Yup, that’s right, I don’t like pizza.  I’ve had this blog account for awhile now and I always talk about my favorite foods and some foods I don’t like, but one thing I’ve never mentioned is that I don’t like pizza.  A lot of people are surprised when I tell them this.  They ask “are you even american?!?!?!” even thought that doesn’t really make sense because pizza is italian. Anyways, this post has been in the back of my mind for awhile now and honestly the reason I haven’t posted it is because I’m scared you guys won’t like me anymore:((( I don’t want to lose blog readers because of my dislike towards pizza! So, i’ve finally worked up the courage to come clean and confess that I don’t like it.  I hope you guys will continue to read and support me despite this.  Thanks for understanding.

Forgotten Restaurant

The other day I went to Sweet Water Tavern for dinner.  I used to go here all the time for dinner and lunch, but I totally forgot about it.  I don’t know if any of you go here a lot of haven’t gone in a while like me, but I forgot how good it was. Before you get your meal, they bring you bread rolls.  Their bread is unique to any other restaurant and they taste so good.  They almost taste kind of sweet.  I’ve never seen bread like theirs.  For dinner I got steak, their steak was cooked very well and tasted delicious.  I got fries on the side of my steak and they were also unique to any other restaurant’s fries.  They were skinnier and had a different type of seasoning I think.  The whole meal was very good and I give the restaurant a 10/10 rating! I recommend checking it out if you forgot about it or have just never been.

My Favorite After School Snacks

Whenever I get home after a long day of school, I’m always hungry.  My number one go to is goldfish.  I could eat goldfish all day every day.  Sometimes I’m feeling a little more healthy so I eat a banana with peanut butter on it.  My mom showed me this snack when I was young and I’ve been eating it ever since.  Another great tasting snack that I love is cheerios in strawberry yogurt.  I know that sounds weird, but it tastes so good.  It mixes something crunchy with something smooth like yogurt.  I hope you decide to try these snacks at home.

My Favorite Dessert

My favorite dessert is crepes.  I’m not really sure if this would be considered a dessert or a breakfast food, but they are so good.  Unfortunately, there are not really any crepe places near us.  When I went to Colorado for Thanksgiving break there was a crepe place down the street from my hotel so I could wake up every morning and go get crepes for breakfast.  My favorite crepes are strawberry and nutella ones.  I like any crepe with chocolate and fruit though.  I’m not really a big fan of savory crepes like the ones with vegetables and salty foods.  Probably because once again, I don’t like vegetables.  One time I made my own crepes at home.  It took a while and they didn’t look very good, but they did taste good and that’s all that matters. Have you ever had a crepe? If so, what kind?

My Favorite Drink😯

In general, for me at least, whenever I go out to eat I usually order the same drink.  I actually don’t like water and I know that’s weird, but I just don’t like the fact that it has no flavor. I really wish I liked water because it’s good for you, but I just don’t.  Does anyone agree with me? Anyways, when I go out to order I usually order lemonade.  Sometimes I’ll order sprite but i’m not really a big fan of fizzy soda drinks.  Let me know in the comments below what you usually order to drink at restaurants. Also guys, I figured out how to use emojis!!🐣😃✌🐈👑🐙

Christmas Dinner/Breakfast

On Christmas Eve, my dad always make the best food.  This year he made us a nice steak and it was wrapped in bacon! On the side we had homemade hash-browns and green beans. The hash-browns were so good.  For dessert we had homemade pumpkin pie, it tasted delicious.  Every Christmas morning we have the same breakfast.  My mom makes us pancakes and waffles with bacon and eggs.  The meals were very good this year.  Let me know what you guys ate in the comments!
