Aquaman

I watched Aquaman and let me tell you i’m not too happy about it. The movie is about Aquaman the king of the seas and his expedition to find out what happened to his mother and regain control of Atlantis. It starts off with his mother a queen meeting a lighthouse keeper and having a kid. One day the mother has to go back and leaves the lighthouse, big deal. That kid is later grows up to become Aquaman, he finds out his brother is the king of Atlantis and is destroying the inland. Too stop him he goes on a massive quest to find a trident which was honestly not necessary but whatever. At the end he takes his rightful place as king and finds his mother. Not everything was bad about this movie however, I like the idea of his mother a queen falling in love with a dock keeper. It really shows how no matter how rich or poor you are if you fall in love it happens. In a way it’s almost like a humble touch the creators added. I rate this movie 6/10 mainly because I almost fell asleep during Aquaman’s quest to get the trident.

Aquaman Coming out

A ton of movies are coming out on the 22 and Aquaman is one of them. I’m pretty sure he’s based of the greek god Poseidon but that’s besides the point. I was planning to go watch it but now i’m hesitant. I’m hesitant because the best movie critiquing website, Rotten Tomatoes has given it such a low rating of 60%. In my book that’s awful like for real Transformers has a higher rating, and let me tell you I hate Transformers. Now i’m stuck whether to see it or not. I think i’ll just go rate it for myself the internet these days isn’t very trustworthy.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood was awesome, it seems like the movie industry has really been bringing up its game like for real, so many great movies are out. Anyways on too robin hood one of the top ten best childhood stories becoming a movie. What I love about the movie is it elaborates on the story, it makes you feel like your watching a whole different story when your really not. It starts off with Robin living the best life, he’s got a house, friends, girls literally anything a man can ask for. It all changed when he got sent to war. During his fourth year of the war the English King needed more room for prisoners, so demanded the execution of all of them. Robin encounters a father yelling helplessly that his son was about to be killed, he Like any good fellow he knew it was wrong and blocked his commanding officer from delivering the blow. This then sparked all out chaos making Robin seem like a traitor. He was banished from the army and returned home. Once he arrived home however, he found out everyone thought he was dead, the king was using everyone for money, his house was completely destroyed, and to top it all off his girl was with another man! He was furious, when he decided to entered his house he was surprised too the the father of the kid he saved sitting there with a cup of tea. The father was a commanding officer of the enemy forces and a master military genius. He taught Robin How to be a killer, and sent him off to tackle the poverty his people were in. Together they robbed the rich and gave it to the poor. When Robin decided to become allies with the king he used that knowledge to steal even more. He seemed unstoppable, until he decided to make the people revolt against the king. When that occurred he was unkillable and the revolt ended up costing the king’s his death and his girlfriend came back together with him. One thing though the man his girl was with wanted revenge and that’s where it the movie ended. I did leave out some stuff but it’s enough for you too tell that it was pretty insane. My man literally went from rich to poor like thirdy times. I would 21/10 recommend this movie too any movie lover out there.

Creed II

Creed II was great, and that’s coming from me, someone not a fan of boxing. The cast did their part well especially Adonis Creed played by Michael B Jordan who was made famous by the movie Black Panther. Furthermore if you slam open a dictionary I bet you under never give up Creed II is in bold ink. Like for real this movie honestly was the perfect combination of family, friendship, and following what you know best. Spoiler alert the whole movie is basically the viewer following Adonis Creed in his journey to face off his biggest rival, Dragos. The background information the movie provides does it justice. The idea that Adonis Creed is fighting to regain what his father Apollo Creed couldn’t accomplish is just great. It really makes you feel like your in the shoes of Creed himself. His father dying in the ring before he was even born and the decision to go in and finish what your father couldn’t accomplish, versing the son of the man that is responsible for his death is just crazy! For sure I wouldn’t be the man to go in, but could you?

Halloween

Recently it was halloween and I decided to treat myself too a movie, and what other way to celebrate Halloween than to watch the movie Halloween. I’ll keep it short and simple,  honestly it was completely garbage. The movie was about the serial killer Michael Myers escaping prison and killing people. The movie had no lesson and left you hanging until next year and the year after that. It became so repetitive I almost fell asleep. Imagine a scary movie that’s not scary and is literally about a man killing people non-stop, yeah it was BAD! There’s nothing more to say about this movie but that it was BAD!

Night School

This weekend me and my friends were out at the mall wandering around we got bored so decided to watch a movie, initially we so gonna watch Venom but it was sold out, so we decided to watch Night School. I wasn’t to happy because I really wanted to watch Venom but it was all I had. The movie starts with the smallest comedian known to man, Kevin Hart blowing up his place of employment. After he lives lying to his fiance saying that he’s rich when in reality he’s dirt poor. He later finds a great job opportunity but is rejected for not having a high school diploma. He is left with one choice and that is to enroll into school behind his fiance’s back. There he encounters all his past enemies and a horrible teacher. At the end he passes the night school test and gets his dream job. This movie is the bare definition of it being never being too late to do something. Personally I felt all the comedy made Night School one of a kind!

The Adventure Begins

Movies everyone watches them. Me let me tell you a good movie is one with just enough action and a pinch of comedy. I prefer anything but a documentary, simply because it makes me feel like i’m back in school. Something so simple as a Disney production might seem like a kids movie at first but has valuable lessons in it. In my opinion lessons that a movie provides is what keeps a movie well, a movie! No matter what you say if the movie grants advice in a entertaining yet interesting way there’s like nothing that can top it, well except maybe a night time swim at the beach. What movies do you recommend?
