Holmes and Watson came out in theaters December 25th 2018. And since then it hasn’t gotten very many good reviews. Even on Rotten Tomatoes they didn’t give out a good review. Although the movie is supposed to be a Mystery/crime comedy combo it is more comedy and stupidity than anything.

Story Plot

Detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson join forces to investigate mysterious murder at Buckingham Palace. The case seems like an open and closed case due to all the signs pointing to the one and only James Moriarty, a criminal mastermind and long time enemy of Sherlock and Watson. When new twists and clues arise the world’s greatest sleuth and his trusted assistant must now use their legendary wits and ingenious methods to catch the killer before the queen becomes the next victim.

Rate/ Review 

The overall graphics and scenes were alright, there wasn’t anything super exciting or special in the movie. As it was based back before the titanic sunk, so you get an old time feel. If I had to choose a favorite part of the movie it would be the little jokes they fit in between lines that not many people would pick up on. Although some scenes were hilarious, others might have come across as plain disgusting. I say if you don’t have a good sense of humor you wouldn’t like the movie. Overall the movie had its moments I just don’t think the plot is very stable or set to go one specific way.

I give this movie a medium popcorn for all the laughs.
