An Absolutely Horrible Day at School

OMG! I had a horrible day yesterday. First, yesterday morning I woke up and it was an A day. A days have such boring classes. The morning was fine. By the way, I checked the weather, and in the world map of temperatures, I scrolled through the forecast to Thursday, and the entire world became purple, which means really cold (0 degrees Fahrenheit and below)!

When I got to school yesterday, my first class was science. In science I had to do a whole bunch of stations, 15 minutes each. When I looked up at the whiteboard, it said that I needed 3 foldables, 2 worksheets, and 1 drawing of a barometer by next class. I was like, “3 FOLDABLES!? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IN ONE CLASS?”, in my mind. We had to do everything on the board in these stations. You are probably like, “3 foldables, 2 worksheets, and 1 drawing? How are you supposed to do them all in 5 stations?”, and my answer is that in the 2nd station, you have to do a worksheet AND a foldable. In stations 3 and 1 I also had to watch videos. The reason that this helped my worst day get worse is that I couldn’t finish the stations before the timer went off so now I have a bunch of homework.

I had to draw this thing for some reason.

Secondly, I had P.E., the worst class to ever exist. Who cares how good you are at basketball? The robots are going to be playing it when I grow up! But anyway, the reason it was so bad is that we were doing volleyball, and I couldn’t underhand serve over the net, so my teammate kept getting mad at me, even when it was his fault. Also, my hands hurt. After volleyball, I had to do the pacer test, a test to see how long you can run to one end of the gym and back before the beep sounds. I got 2 less lengths than I did at the beginning of the year because P.E. is right before lunch and I was starving. I would have gotten, like, 6 more lengths if I did the pacer before we did volleyball!

After gym I had English for 30 minutes before lunch. At lunch there weren’t enough seats for my 3 friends and I to sit except for the table with my Elementary school bully. One teacher told us to sit down somewhere, so we had to sit where the bully sat. Luckily we ignored him and he ignored us, and he eventually left for either the bathroom or the library and he didn’t come back.

Then in math we had 2 tests and I almost didn’t finish the second one. Almost. Then I had 5 minutes to do my science homework, and I had late bus, so when the bell rang I hung around for a few minutes because my math teacher had glue. I realized that I left my drawing of a barometer from science in the science classroom, so I had to do it all over again later! The reason I needed glue from math is because I didn’t have any in my pencil pouch and I wanted to do it all before the bus came. But in the waiting area (The cafeteria), my binder ring opened up and papers were loose. So I had to take 5-10 minutes to put them all back before I could restart my drawing of a barometer. After my drawing of a barometer (It took about 5 minutes) I started my IXL math homework, but right after I started, the bus came. When I got on the bus (I was the last one on) I still had IXL open. I did a question, then it said that it needed internet connection. I was like, “Seriously? Why would it need connection, it’s an app, it should have everything downloaded into it already!”. So I had to do my IXL homework when I got home.

When I got home, it was 4:00 and I was starting to get hungry. I don’t know why I put that there, I just was. I started my IXL homework, but the first lesson was super frustrating and random, so I kept getting questions wrong. FYI, every time you get a question wrong in IXL, you lose pretty much 15 points, and you have to get 100 points to master a lesson. Luckily, I only had to get 85 before I could move on to the next lesson. The other 2 lessons were easy, but the first one had dumb questions, like, “Turn 5.5675 into a mixed number”, and expected my to know that that equaled 5 227/400, or that the mixed number that equals 6.7381 is 6 7381/10000. The day was pretty fine after that, but school was just not good.

Thank you for reading through my entire story!

  1. Yeah, sometimes I have days where I get home from school and just want to go to sleep but there’s a mountain of homework
