If you didn’t know, daylight saving time has started yesterday. If you don’t know what daylight saving time is, it’s when everyone moves their time forward and backward once in the fall and once in the spring. What makes daylight saving hard is that in the spring everything is shifted an hour forward which means that if you usually wake up at six o’clock you’re probably going to wake up at seven. That happened to me today and I almost missed the bus and I wasn’t able to practice any piano in the quiet of the morning. There is an upside to daylight saving though, if time skips forward in the spring that means it skips backward in the fall. This year it’s skipping back on the day before my birthday. It’s kinda sad that today is the second day of daylight saving and I’m already looking forward to the day it’ll change back and we’ll have some more time to sleep. After all, sleep is all that matters.
