This post is mostly a follow up to my last one so if you haven’t read that one go check it out here.

Now If you’ve read the previous post then you know I went to Whitetail today and it was a ton of fun. I went skiing on all of the beginner slopes since the only time I had skied before was 5 or 6 years ago and I didn’t remember anything. First I went on the easiest slope possible, fell down a couple times and mastered that one, then I went to the next easiest slope and I did that one and fell a couple times as well. After doing that we left for lunch at some pizzeria at Whitetail. After eating our well- earned pizza. We got our gear and went to the slopes. I now wanted to try a harder slope. I later learned that that was a big mistake. The slope was really steep and sometimes the only way for me to slow down was to fall down. For some reason that sounds poetic but sliding down a steep mountain on your but with no way of slowing down doesn’t feel poetic. One  time on that slope I fell down and twisted both of my ankles and I had to take off my skis to get up and put them on again to get back up. It was hard but I made it all the way down the slope. After experiencing that, both me and my dad decided that I should probably do that slope next year. We went of some of the smaller slopes for a while and I’m proud to say that I didn’t fall on any of them. Anyone who has skied before knows that it is a great achievement. By then it was around quarter to six so we returned our ski gear, got some coffee (or in my case hot chocolate.) and left for our car. Now that was a perfect day, with the highlight of flying through a ski slope on my butt.
