Well I’m not very sure what to write for my slice of life so I’m just going to write about my swim meet this weekend.

On Saturday my mom brought me along to an indoor pool somewhere in Chantilly. I was really excited, this would be my first swim team meet,  I had never competitively swum before, but my dad was a very good swimmer and he had taught me a lot about swimming and I knew a lot of types of swimming. I saw the rest of my swim team, most of them were people that I didn’t know. After we changed into out swimsuits we got into the water. We immediately started our freestyle race, I actually got second place in that, I got third place in the backstroke but for the butterfly I got first. In all I got second place, but I felt pretty good.
