Hello! Today is Monday, but it is super sunny and nice and warm. I wrote a special poem about sunshine awhile ago, so I’ll share it with you right now! Here it is:

 

SUNSHINE

Bright as honey, warm and sunny

The sun shines down on a bunny.

 

It’s super yellow, like mac ‘n cheese

It makes people happy, especially me!

 

It smiles down it’s toothy grin

People frolic, and dance, and spin.

 

The air is warm, and smiles are big

It makes me want to dance a jig!

 

It’s super fun to play outside

And all the rain on the ground is dried.

 

But when the clouds come rolling in,

I’ll wait for sunshine to come again.

 

I hope you liked it! Comment what you think. This weekend it is supposed to be 90 DEGREES!! I’m so excited. On Thursday, I also got new brush pens. This past weekend when I went to Virginia Beach, so I was able to practice with them. Here are some pictures!

Anyways, this past weekend I went to Virginia Beach for a softball tournament. It was so fun! On Friday my team went out to dinner and then we got cold stone. We only won 1 out of three of our softball games, but we were playing really well. We were done by about 1:30, so we had time to go to the beach! The water was freezing, but one of our coaches paid us to dunk all the way under the water. I got $5! On Sunday, we lost our game, so we had to go home. But was so fun!

THE WATER BOTTLE’S JOURNEY

There once was a water bottle. His name was Steve. Yesterday, he had been sitting on a shelf at Target. Then, someone bought him! His name was Thomas. Today, he was ready for a new adventure at a place called “school”

As Steve got filled up with water, he felt energized he got placed in a little pocket of a backpack. He got picked up on the kid’s back. There, they walked outside and waited for the bus to come.

When the bus finally came, Steve was smushed between 2 other kids with backpacks. It was very uncomfortable. That made the bus ride seem longer.

When Steve got to school, he was so excited! “I can’t wait to see all the different people and places!”  Steve thought. But, all of a sudden, the pouch that was holding him started to slip. Steve was so uncomfortable on the bus, he was squirming a lot and the pouch started to not be able to hold him. Steve lost all control. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” Steve felt the cold, hard ground hit his body. “Ow.”

Steve layed there for what felt like forever. “Help!” he continuously yelled. About 2 minutes later, he started hearing footsteps. “Yay! He’s ba-” Steve stopped midway through his sentence. He felt a cold hand grab on to him that sent shivers down his spine. “ I have a feeling that’s not Thomas.”  He had a bad feeling in his stomach. As his eyes finally were able to make out a face, he noticed it was someone he’s never seen before. Usually, when he first sees someone he’s never met before, he wants to get to know them right away and become friends. But this person’s face was rock solid and not welcoming. “I think- I think it is the- the PRINCIPAL!”  Steve started to have trouble breathing “uh-uh-I don’t feel-” Steve was out COLD.

As Steve felt his eyes flutter open, he wasn’t in the Principal’s hand anymore. He also wasn’t with Thomas. “Where am I?”  Steve wondered. He was on a wooden table. He sat up, and saw a poster. Even though his vision were still blurry, he could barely make out the words ‘Lost and Found’. “OH NO!” Steve screamed. “I have to find a way out!”

Hello! Today is Thursday. I’m so excited for my birthday TOMORROW!! I am so excited because I think that I am getting a lot of brush pens for my birthday! I think I may be getting them from 2 friends, and from my family. Tomorrow I will go to school, and then come home and feed Thor! It is his birthday too, so he will get a special treat:) Then I will probably watch tv. I love watching this tv show called “the middle”. My whole family watches it and it is SO FUNNY! Anyways, after that we will probably go out to dinner. I’m not sure where, but either at Outback Steakhouse(I love steak) or Sweet Water (I also love Chipotle, but I went there today). After that, PRESENTS! This weekend I am also going to Great Wolf Lodge. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!

Anyways, I wrote this story called “The WaterBottle’s journey”. It is not a serious story, It is more a children’s story. It is about a water bottle who gets lost, so he has to escape the lost and found and find his way back to his owner- without getting caught! I’m sorry, but I don’t have it with me right now so I can’t share it! Tomorrow I will post the story. Anyways, I wish you all a happy Friday! Bye!

Hi! Today is Thursday. It is almost Friday! I am so excited for my softball tournament this weekend. Last weekend we were supposed to have a softball tournament, but then it got cancelled for ‘snow’. It didn’t snow AT ALL. So, this weekend will be our first softball tournament! It is supposed to be SUPER NICE so we’ll definitely be playing. Also, I don’t have to wake up early! Our first game is at 3:30. Anyways, in english class the attendance question was “what is your favorite word?” I said that it was sizzle. But, that inspired me to make a word list of my favorite words! Here it is:

There are some more, but I forgot. Also, April is poetry month! I made a poem about the color navy. I don’t really dislike it, but it flowed with the poem! Here it is:

I do not like the color navy.

It isn’t really the color of gravy.

It is not bright or happy or fun,

It doesn’t make me want to lay in the sun.

It isn’t really big or bold,

It isn’t shiny like silver and gold.

So if you ask if I like navy,

I might pull off a big shavie.

Hello! How are you? I’m very good. I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted in FOREVER. I had the flu, so I couldn’t post then, and then it was spring break (and to be honest I wasn’t really thinking about school), and then my week was busy. But, I’m glad that I can blog now!

This month is April! It is my birthday month. I am so excited! I really hope I get this pack of brush pens that I really really really really really really really really want. It is 96 brush pens! I want it so badly. I think I may get it! I have been begging my parents for this. The reason why I want it so badly is because I can have a better variety, and for blending. I can have all different shades of pinks, purples, blues, greens, and a lot more!

Anyways, I’m so excited for my birthday! It will also be Thor’s birthday. I will probably give him a special treat, like an apple and a carrot! He will be so happy! Tomorrow is Friday, which I am very excited for. I don’t know what I love so much about Fridays, but I just love them! I have a tournament this weekend, and it is our first one. We may have to play in the snow, which would be so cool.  Anyways, I have to go. Bye!!
