All about me, Arshia!

I’m a writer,a reader, and 6th grader.

I’m a friend of the world, just a tiny bit absurd.

I’m a hard-worker, strong and tough just ain’t that rough.

I’m a soccer star, going afar.

All of me is with my family.

Don’t you see that’s me?

A Fawn is on our Lawn!

I just went in my house and I’m excited. My family was having a regular afternoon when my Dad rushed in the house saying there was a fawn on our lawn. We all went out of the house, sure enough, there was a small fawn just curled up in the grass in the rain. Our neighbors were already there, one of our neighbors said that they called Animal Control, they said not to worry because they said that the fawn is probably here because the mom thought it was a safe place and will most likely come back. But if the fawn is still here by morning, we will have to call them again and something must’ve happened to the mom. My mom asked if we could at least put an umbrella near it so it won’t get wet, but our neighbor said no because the fawn might get scared if we get near it and the fawn is used to sleeping without a roof over its head. So we went inside leaving the fawn behind, but we did take some pictures! Here it is…

Isn’t it cute?! Anyway I decided I should take a better picture but when we went out on our lawn, our neighbors said that the fawn ran away, so I had to deal with the pictures I already took. So hopefully the fawn is safe with its mother and eating healthy grass. Hopefully!

I’m Sorry That I Made A Mistake

Okay everyone, your probably are all mad at me.Okay lets all say it together…

YOU HAVEN’T BLOGGED SINCE APRIL AND YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED THE POETRY CHALLENGE!!!!

I know, and I’m sorry that I made a mistake. I accidentally ignored my blog. So to remind everyone that I haven’t forgotten my blog, I have been blogging…but on a DIFFERENT BLOG. I have been typing away at Sharing Our Notebooks, a fellow author, writing teacher, poet, and blogger, named Amy Ludwig VanDerwater. She made the blog, but it has been neglected, but Amy went ahead and wrote us 6th graders of Brambleton Middle School a letter.

So I have one question for you, do you want to go to Sharing Our Notebooks?  If yes then click the link!

Poetry Challenge Day 24: Work

WORK

Everything in life is work.

if you don’t believe in hard work,

 you don’t believe in life.

Whether your hanging out with friends,

you need to work your smile.

Whether you need to run a mile,

you need to work to reach the ends.

Point is, life is work.

If you don’t believe in work you don’t believe in life.

Poetry Challenge Day 16: The Play

THE PLAY

I had a play

today.

The play was called The Bakers Plot.

And I played a boys puppy’s robot.

I got to school with my costume on,

though I need my makeup done.

After the silver face paint.

I went backstage and felt faint.

I peeked out,

hundreds of adults and kids screaming about.

As the curtains opened I said my lines,

that I practiced millions of times.

The show went smoothly and I started erasing every doubt,

at the end of the show I said “Now that’s what I’m talking about”
