Today everyone at my school is commemorating the death of seventeen students and staff during the parkland shooting. In dentime today we commemorated the students by making videos sharing five acts of kindness, a few students walked out, some made tee shirts, and I made posters. Walking out is when you go outside and pray for every student and staff for seventeen minutes I didn’t do it because I knew there would be a cosequence but I understand why people would want to protest. I can see both sides. I was against gun violence, and how its not ok and I agree but why not put posters around the school and get rewarded instead of walking out and getting detention. If any of the friends or family of one of those seventeen people is reading this I pray for you and hope you know that he/she is in a better place.

There is only ten more days until I see my dad it’s unreal. I haven’t seen him since last October and I still feel sad from the day I left him. I can’t wait to mess up his freshly combed hair, and untie his shoelaces every second. He also brings British candy it’s so good there chocolate is way better than ours why don’t we just all move to London. With better candy, and cool double decker buses. The beach house is going to be so much fun they even have bikes you could ride around in, the house is so pretty as well they have a bunch of cool beach decorations and the pieces for the checkers set are starfish and sand dollars.  I can’t wait until spring break starts

When do you feel proud of yourself? That’s the question I was asked today. I hadn’t really thought about it until now. But why? Even though I am busy don’t I still have time for positivity? Doesn’t everyone? You should always save time in the day gaining confidence, complimenting yourself, smiling at others. Positivity is the thing that brings people closer. If you don’t like yourself then other people are going to repel from you. Bad attitude, sadness, even just frowning can make someone feel unattractive to you. People want to feel positive with other happy people.

What is slime? slime is a fun sticky substance made with Elmers school glue, staflo (liquid starch), food dye (optional), floam beads (optional), glitter (optional), and many other fun add in’s. I make slime every day, you can also make slime smoothies which is when you mix all of your slime’s together. I know you think I am obsessed but trust me I am more than obsessed. But I am not that crazy because most of my friends are to. Slime is so much fun but when it first started becoming a trend there was a national shortage of Elmers glue isn’t that crazy I hope you guys get to make slime. because its the most amazing thing ever!

My brother and I got permission from our mom to go to the pool for the last hour it was open, while she stayed in the room. We decided to do one of the slides that led into the lazy river. When we got to the lazy river we decided to play truth or dare the first few truths were fun and silly but then I picked dare. My brother dared me to do a backflip off the tube into the water (also known as a stupid idea) not remembering the water was two feet and six inches deep I gave it a try. As I leapt backwards my head hit the cement floor my eyes instantly started watering as I realized I had actually gotten really hurt. Now i’m in the hotel room with what I think is a concussion.

Great Wolf Lodge has been so much fun. The green slide is amazing, inside there are disco balls every where, magi quest is amazing as always, and the hotel room is awesome. But the most amazing out of all of that to me is the blue spoons. Last night we went to dinner after that we got ice cream when I took out the spoon from the top of the bundle it had turned blue. I thought it was a great surprise and an amazing touch. If I were four (which most kids there are) I would of sworn it was some sorta magic.

I love going on vacation. But there is always that one thing you hate about vacation. Missing school assignments, not seeing friends, and having the worst connection ever because its 2018 and every one in your hotel is probably on a device that needs WIFI. But my least favorite thing about vacation is getting there, I hate long drives in the car. No space, bad pop music, and eagerly wanting to stretch. That’s why I am dreading today. A four hour drive that makes your mind think you’ve been in the car for a millennium. Granola bar crumbs all over the seats, everlasting work calls, and crying (lots of crying) if you can’t tell I am NOT an only child. I’ll blog tomorrow if I last that long.

I’m reading a book called sure signs of crazy. Its characters have a wide variety of traits, and it shows the reality that some children, teens, and adults have to go through. But luckily our protagonist is confident, smart,  brave, and social. She narrates her own story, telling us all the dramatic, and terrifying challenges she’s about to face. She finds a comfort in writing which I feel that many could relate to. Especially Ms. Haseltine’s sixth grade class. This book is filled with drama, mysteries, cliffhangers, and exciting twists and I can’t wait until you guys read it.

I’m so excited I totally forgot I was going to great wolf lodge on Thursday I can’t wait. We get to swim every day, eat all the candy in the world, and have lots of fun. Their are so many amazing things you could do. You can go on one on of the five awesome slides, spend every second on the lazy river (#Me), or hang out in the wave pool. I like the wave pool but whenever I get out my legs feel weird. Their is also ice cream (lots of ice cream). But one thing i’m really excited for is Magi Quest. A fun scavenger hunt around the resort where people of all ages have to tap treasures with a wand to get to the next clue. My family have done two missions one for each trip we have gone on our first trip we had to defeat the red dragon, and our second we had to find a potion to cure the good fairy. I wonder what we are doing this year i’m so excited for the adventures that lie ahead of me  

Today is the first day back at school i’m excited, nervous, and extremely terrified to go because I don’t really feel as if I know enough. I feel unprepared. But you know I always figure it out even its turns out negative for me, their is always a conclusion. It helps me keep up because sometimes I go into situations that I don’t know seventy five percent of. But are able to close the firewall, break the ice and then everyone loves each other again. It kinda makes me seem like some sorta dilemma detective. Well I do like the tile
