The halls filled with the cluster of chatter. As heavy stampedes of students and teachers rush toward the exits. It’s summer.

With summer on its way, the end of blogging is here. I enjoyed the creativity the blog has allowed me. Although I don’t think my blogging style has improved or writing, I did learn a lot about myself and what I’m capable of. If you blog did you learn something about yourself?

Rereading my blogs its a really good look back on my year and even though not everything I’ve blogged about is a big deal its good to look back and see those little memories I blogged about. In its own way blogging is almost like a collage of what I’ve been up to you.

I’d recommend if you want to start something new blogging is for you.

S0 long blogs! Hello summer!

It is something truly beautiful about what a dog can bring. How loyal and happy they are. How all it takes is a tail wag to turn your day into the best one yet. With beauty comes pains.

unfortunately, dogs don’t live forever. You don’t get to spend the rest of your life with them, but they get to spend the rest of their life with you. It’s heartbreaking to face the reality of how your best friend can only be there for a short while. This being said that short time is one of the best times.

It’s important to remember how much you should treasure this time. Every walk is a gift, every cuddle is a miracle, and every day you have with these beautiful creatures is unearthly. No words can describe the love a dog can bring into your heart and no amount of time can be enough. They leave with possibly the best advice. Find the simple joys of long walks, to hide your favorite snacks, if you want something chase it, wag more and bark less, show lots of affection, and always shake it off.

Enjoy my poem? It was made by my shoulder sunburn that hurts quite a lot. While everyone enjoyed their spring break I’m sure half the population at dominion will be peeling from spring breaks the first kiss of sunburn.

I am lucky enough to have a spring break during my school year. I think some students are blind to the idea that not all schools have a spring break. My only complaint is the teachers cheat the system. Teachers are technically not allowed to give work over the break. This policy allows students to regain stamina before SOL’s and exams. A problem with this policy is that teachers won’t give you homework over the break but they will give you big projects and/or time-consuming work that’s due the week you come back to break.

Think of it like this. While they aren’t giving you work you HAVE to do over break they are highly suggesting if you don’t do the work over break you are most likely screwed. Once we come back to school teachers will reassign work and homework to busy up your time so that if you didn’t do the big project or time-consuming work you probably won’t have enough time to get everything done.

While this really sucks, there aren’t many things students or officials can do. Let’s not undermine that teachers could be good full hearted people and let us have a break but that’s beyond them and we are asking “too much”. The reason officials and students can’t do much is because they are technically not breaking any rules. They found a loophole that is allowing them to do this. They are not giving homeowrk over the break and they arent making it due for the first two days back.

Complaining won’t help either. All we as the students can ask for is another policy be made to ban big assignments due near or around the break time. We have 7 more weeks of school im sure they can move back the due date just some.

Id like to firstly say no, i am not that old but time is also so long yet so short. Although i have had my years. I’ve lived in my neighborhood my whole life. Almost everyone is my neighborhood babysat me or i just popped up in their house. We have a common area in my neighborhood and my parents would always let me play there and when they wanted be back inside my mom would do this crazy loud whistle that everyone in the neighborhood knew of. Once i got to the age of 10 id run around to everyone’s house and say hello and play. I didn’t tell my mother so everyone knew if i ended up at their house to call Barbara to let her know. I had my generation of friends and people my age and my brother had his and so did my sister. It was crazy to me how people started to move away or split apart. Our neighborhood was very tight and when time came for the ‘Next generation’ to take over i was confused and quiet honestly sad. Now i see the little kids playing in the common area i once played in and every once in awhile i hear parents calling in their kid. I love my neighborhood and its growth.

High school is a time to be enjoyed and lived out. Expect every year around the time of the 3rd quarter. Course selection is truly worldwide devastation for students in high school. Not only to you have to pick based on what you can handle and enjoy. You basically have to pick based at schools your looking at. Not only that but you balance your choice class selection based on what you want to be when your older or what degree you want. What high school student 100% knows what they want to be. It really defeats the purpose of living highschool out as much as possible.

This time is extremely stressful for literally everyone in the building. Teachers have to pick carefully where they believe a student should be placed. Their request on what classes you should or shouldn’t take are valued to the students. The councilors have to work with teachers, students, and parents. Everyone knows parents can be a piece of work. While this is going on sol’s and AP tests bring even more stress for everyone.

Does anyone really come out at the end of the year sane?
