All about me, Risad!

Risad’s Top 10

  1. Though I may be here in America, I was born in Bangladesh. I arrived at America when 2014 ended.
  2. I have 2 siblings. I am the youngest in my family.
  3. Though I like all colors, my favourite color is blue, mainly because it emits a peaceful sensation to me.
  4. When I was very little I started drawing, I have done it for such a long time that it has become a passion of mine. I even have a drawing notebook, surprising, I don’t think so…
  5. Surprisingly, many of my cousins watch anime, and I do too. I have been surrounded by anime so much, that it is a part of me. My favorite two animes are Erased and F.M.A.B. short for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood .
  6. Many people don’t like the rain, but unsurprisingly, I do. I like the rain,  because it’s so peaceful. When the sun’s out it’s always bustling, moving, scorching heat, and excess amounts of noise. On the other hand, when it’s raining, there is no excess amounts of noise, plus it creates white noise, and personally, I think it is better!
  7. I love world building; it sets a blank canvas, where you can do anything. It sets a base for a good story, that could be made. I started loving world building, because I love maps or cartography. It’s just so cool!
  8. Video games are something I genuinely love. Some of my favorite games are Pokemon, Overwatch, etc.
  9. Reading and writing are something I very much enjoy. If I didn’t, then why would I be doing this blog, right? When I am reading, I have to read good books! I am a very picky reader. Some of my favorite books are the Legends series, by Marie Lu , books by Rick Riordan, and Geronimo Stilton books. I like Geronimo Stilton books because those were the first books I read when I came to America.
  10. I have many relatives from my mom’s side and dad’s side. I think if both were to be combined there would be at least over 40 relatives. I have a large family.

  1. Risad,

Thanks for sharing a little about yourself. I hope I get to peek into your drawing notebook. Quite a few students in our Communications class are passionate about both writing and illustrating. Me, too! Maybe you’ll all inspire me to revive my pen and ink drawings. At the very least, we should all give Anime a try….you and a few of the other Anime fans can lead a lesson for us! Think about it.

I’m also delighted to learn that you enjoy the rain. One of my favorite places to be during a rainstorm is on my screened porch. Maybe we’ll have a few rainstorms during class. We can watch through the windows and write about it! 🙂

Looking forward to a knockout year-

  2. Hey Risad! Your blog looks great and your All About Me post is so interesting. I too love reading and writing, but it’s sometimes hard for me to keep interested in a book. Maybe I’ll give The Legends series a try. If you have a chance, take a look at my blog http://blogs.lcps.org/keepingitcoolwithac/. Hopefully soon I’ll have some book reviews up. Keep up the good work!

  3. Hello Arts n Stuff! My favorite color is blue also, but for a different reason. I also really liked how you numbered everything! I didn’t really think to do that! 10/10 site!

  4. Hello Risad,

I loved your all about me post. As well as you, I also love the rain. I love to splash in the puddles and see the water dripping off the wet plants. The rain is so peaceful and beautiful. When it rains hard in my neighborhood, you can hear the echoes of the water splashing around the sewers.

I am a very picky reader as well. I love books, but it is hard to find the right book. What books do you like? I write as well. My own short stories and sometimes long stories.

  5. Risad,

UwU OwO, My friend Risad, how do you do? Love your post by the way! I am glad I read your post since I knew some of these things but not all. You know I love drawing and anime too! Although, I have been getting out of anime recently. You are definitely right about it being like a blank canvas! You should show me more of your drawings, the ones that I have seen are really amazing! You have a lot of potential and I am glad to be friends with you!

    Cheers,
    Nadia
