Hi lively listeners! Another week, another 100-word challenge! This week, our prompt was the 5 words; Oar, Rule, Mushroom, Wistful, and Wrinkled. The extra challenge this week was to write in the style of a news report. I hope you enjoy!
“I’m Mary Mushroom, and you’re watching Mysteria News, Channel 4. We start our report of today with another devastating attack from The Oar. This terrorist group hit the Wrinkled Waterhole. We interviewed a fairy who witnessed the ambush.”
“It was wistful to believe that The Oar would leave us alone after all those other attacks. They decimated our village, we just want to be safe again.”
“Many believe that under the rule of Queen Veda, these attacks will continue until there is nothing left in Mysteria. There will be a council meeting later today to decide our course of action.”
